Will Redarc Tow Pro Link Work for 2017 Ram 1500 with Factory 7-Way

Question:

Hi. I have a 2017 Ram 1500 with the factory trailer wiring but no factory trailer brake. The plug is only a six prong plug. Will this trailer brake work?

Hey Dennis, yes the Redarc Tow Pro Link part # RED57AR will work great on your 2017 Ram 1500 that has a factory 7-way but not a factory brake controller. This installs in line with the factory 7-way and will give you a great brake controller that is easy to install and performs well. You may have only counted 6 prongs on your trailer wiring connector but you have to also count the center pin.
