Recommended Anti-Rattle for CRAVOT CyberRack E2 With E-Bikes
Updated 03/15/2026 | Published 03/10/2026 >
Question:
I have purchased two e-bikes and will be using a CRAVOT CyberRack E2 Hitch Bike Rack. Would you recommend your new E38FV anti rattle hitch plate or would I be better to use the E99007 anti rattle hitch stabilizer due to the weight of the bikes?

Hey Stephen! The etrailer Anti-Rattle Hitch Collar # e38FV is the best option for your CRAVOT CyberRack E2 and e-bikes. The weight really isn't a concern since this can handle up to 5,000 lbs.
The anti-rattle can stay on your receiver so it is always ready to go. It is also easy to adjust with the hand knob so you don't need any tools to install/uninstall your bike rack when you're headed out or coming back with your bikes.
Any big trips coming up with your bikes this spring?

Installed one and I have no rattle, my hitch pin hole was elongated because I always tow a work trailer so I had a lot of rattle, easy install not too expensive.

The adjustable receiver collar worked perfectly. I just completed a 400 mile drive with a four bicycle carrier attached with four bicycles included and I never heard a rattle. I would highly recommend this product.

I use the anti rattle on a truck and motorhome. It works as well as the “U” shaped bolts that require a wrench. I need it first for a Kuat swingout and then a Kuat rack with e-bikes. I’ve also used it with other bike racks. Definitely recommend.

Hi Stephen, the anti rattle adapter has been great. Straight out of the box, it was built well and does the job you want it to do.

The Anti-Rattle Collar is a very high quality/solid solution for exactly this need - bike racks. I use a rack that fits a 1 1/4" receiver. I use a convertor for my 2" receiver and it definitely rattles and the rack sways without the Collar. The Collar secures perfectly and tightens down with ease. Once totally tight the rattling is gone and the rack stays in place. One suggestion: for vehicles that may have low rear clearance the wing-nut adjuster at the bottom does decrease clearance. An easy fix is to rotate the Collar counterclockwise so the adjuster is on the right side. The etrailer folks told me to not install it with the adjuster on the left. With that small fix - perfect! I choose to not leave mine on. I can put it on when needed in about a minute and it stays clean, especially in winter driving up here in the Northwest.
