The Thule Canyon XT Roof Cargo Basket - Steel - 49" x 40" x 6" - 150 lbs # TH859XT is going to be a great fit for your 2020 Subaru Crosstrek.
I know the Crosstrek comes with rails that run front to back, either flush or raised. In order to install the # TH859XT, you will also need crossbars that run side to side. If you do not already have them, you will need one of the following:
For raised rails: Thule WingBar Evo Roof Rack for Raised Rails - Aluminum - Black - Qty 2 # TH52ZA
For flush rails: Thule WingBar Evo Roof Rack for Flush Rails - Aluminum - Black - Qty 2 # TH96YG
If you are not sure which style your Crosstrek has, I attached an image to help. You have raised rails if you can fit your fingers between the rail and the roof.

we bought the Thule Canyon XT Roof Cargo Basket - Steel - 49" x 40" x 6" - 150 lbs # TH859XT i for our new 2025 Toyota PRIUS "Nightshade" edition - an auto the resembles a Lamborghini and has a "naked roof" requiring special roof brackets- The basket has a curved profile that matches the car's profile and looks great. I did add a spare tire bracket from Yakima to compliment the setup for an added tire - the Thule products are first rate and their installers do nice work, commission the install if you can and its a bit tricky Henry.
