Question:

How much room do the rails take up on the inside of the bed? Need to make sure my fifth wheel trailer will not contact the rails during a steep turn. Vehicle: 2021 Ford F350, crew cab, short bed, single wheel

Hey Chris!

I wasn't sure how to answer your question so I decided to take a stroll out to our warehouse. They were so well packed they were tough to get out of the box but I was able to check how wide the rails were overall and they were are a little over 3". The whole rail wont be hanging into the bed but I'm confident in saying that they would 3" into the bed. So 6" in total between the two rails once the Pace Edwards Switchblade part # PE66QJ is installed on your truck.
