I have 2 questions on this product: Whats the weight? How tall does the main body next to the cab sit above the rails? Im wondering if this is suitable for a fifth wheel RV application.

As far as as your question about the height of the cover installed on the side rails, it sits just shy of 1/8 of an inch. With this measurement, it truly depends on the height of your current fifth wheel trailer and where the truck's bed rails sit in your bed. In order to determine for sure whether this cover will close completely with your hitch installed, I recommend measuring from the top of your fifth-wheel hitch to make sure that it does not extend past the truck's bed rails (where the Switchblade installs).
