Hey Channing! The Demco DA75 Trailer Brake Actuator for Drum Brakes # DM88CV does not need a solenoid. You can use the Manual Lock Out Kit for Demco DA75 Trailer Brake Actuators # DM93CV if you don't want to use an electric lockout. The other option is to use free backing brakes that don't engage in reverse.
