Question:
Hi, the firestone airide 2245 ride rite kit will work on my 2004 Toyota Tundra v-8, 4wd correct? Other kits say engineered, assembled and distributed in the USA. Yours say made in the USA. Is there a difference? Thank you

Hi Harold, thanks for reaching out. Yes, the Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs # F2245 are confirmed to fit your 2004 Toyota Tundra V8 4WD.
As for your question about country of origin, Firestone Ride-Rite air springs are manufactured in the USA, specifically in Springfield, Missouri by Firestone Industrial Products. Right down the road from us really haha. When we list them as made in the USA, that refers to the actual manufacturing of the air springs.
Some other brands use wording like “engineered, assembled, and distributed in the USA,” which can sometimes mean components are sourced globally but assembled domestically. With Firestone, the air springs themselves are produced here in the United States.
From a performance standpoint, the # F2245 kit will give you up to 5,000 pounds of load leveling support and is designed to improve ride stability when towing or hauling.
What kind of trailer will you be hauling?

Hi Jesse, in my original question when I referred to "other kits" I specifically meant the firestone f2245 sold on Amazon, advertised as engineered, assembled and distributed in the USA. No mentioned of where they are manufactured. If they were truly manufactured in the USA seems like they would say so. Makes me think they may be a copy produced globally? Plus the 30% price reduction is also suspicious. What do you think? etrailer obviously has the best customer support and parts availability. Thanks for your help!
