Hey Garret, thanks for the information. I've got a couple of options to upgrade your 3,500 lbs axle. One's a standard axle the other includes brakes and braking hubs. They both have a 5,200 lbs capacity, a 95" hub face, and 80" spring seat measurement.

5,200 lbs Axle No Hubs - Trailer Axle Beam with Easy Grease Spindles - 95" Long - item # e63GR

5,200 lbs Axle with Braking Hubs - Trailer Axle w/ Electric Brakes - 6 on 5-1/2 Bolt Pattern - 95" Long item # e55SR

You'll also need a new set of u-bolts when you swap out your axle. The U-Bolt Kit item # APUBR-8 includes everything you need and fits a 3" diameter axle.

Please note that upgrading your 3,500 lbs axle to a 5,200 lbs one will require you to swap out your wheels with ones that have a 6 on 5-1/2 bolt pattern. The larger spindle does not accommodate a 3,500 lbs hub with a 5 on 4-1/2 lug nut pattern.

What kind of trailer do you have?

@GarrettH Thanks! That's a nice trailer! Let me know if you would like a recommendation on wheels and new leaf springs.

@JerredH What leaf springs are recommend? I would guess current ones are to light if axles are being upgraded. The leaf spring brackets are 29” on center.
