Questions About Go Power Industrial Pure Sine Wave Inverter on 2026 Brinkley Model Z Air 310

Updated 01/29/2026 | Published 01/25/2026

Question:

I just bought a 2026 Brinkley Model Z Air 310 Travel Trailer. I just installed a Vatrer 600 Ah Lithium battery and got all that working. I just ordered an aditional Furrion 370 w solar panel so I will wind up with 2- 370w solar panels total within the next couple of weeks. I am interested in the Go Power IC3000 inverter. A. Brinkley advertised the Travel Trailer is prepped for inverter to be installed whatever that means. I did see Inverterinch labeled on the breaker inside the breaker box. Will this inverter work well on my Brinkely? B. Are there any additional parts I will need? C. Any idea how/where to run the wire for the Monitor to get it inside the Travel trailer, preferably where the Control panel is at there at the entry door? D. Will this inverter/Converter replace my existing Converter ie: will I just flip the breaker on my existing converter to off? This looks like it will manage everything: If I plug into Shore Power it will recognize and allow power use while also charging the battery, If I unplug it automatically transers to 110 volt power, yet I will still have Solar coming in . Correct? E. I have 3 Master power switches in my Trailer: 1. Turns On/0ff 12 volt power, but always keeps power to refrigerator, slides and jacks, 2. Solar charge On/Off, and 3. All power to trailer is cut off. Will all 3 of these swithes still work the same, or does anything change? F. Does the converter draw any power from the battery itself while not connected to Shore power and in Inverter mode. For example, If I am off grid does the system pull more power than if I was just connected to battery only as it is now? G. What setting would I use for my particular Lithium Battery and how would I set it? H. Does installing the Inverter change anything on how my truck will charge the battery whike traveling? I. At 50lbs, I am guessing the will need to be installed on the floor in the pass thru, and not on a wall, or can it be installed on a wall or ceiling in the Pass thru? Can you recommend installation location in the Z Air 310? Lots of questions, but I do not understand all this very well. Thanks

Hey John! I will do my best to answer all of your questions here so you can get this figured out.

A. Yes, the Go Power Industrial Pure Sine Wave Inverter # 34275013 will work well on your Brinkley.
B. You will need additional wiring/ring terminals to connect everything. This will depend on your exact setup. I recommend looking at the wiring diagrams in the instructions linked further down on this page. You will also need the fuse kit # 342GPDCKIT5.
C. If you want it by the entry door you're probably looking at taking the wire through the floor and then back up inside where the control panel is at. If you can live with it in another location you can mount it under those wardrobes in the bedroom, looks like there is solid trim underneath it could mount on which would minimize running wires.
D. This will replace your existing converter. Go Power recommends removing it, should be fine to just disconnect it.
E. The switches will still work the same as long as everything is wired correctly.
F. When you aren't connected to shore power the only drain on the batteries from the # 34275013 will be the inverter changing DC to AC for your AC devices.
G. There are a lot of different settings so again it would be best to look through the manual and see what is best for your particular setup. This will also help you understand how to use the system.
H. This will not change how your truck charges the battery while driving.
I. You can install it horizontally on the floor with the base down, or ceiling with the base up. You can also install it on the wall with the DC terminals to the right. See the attached picture. If you have the room for it I would probably put it on the wall so it is up and out of the way.

Hi John, As an RV tech, i have installed the IC3000 previously. I'd probably steer clear of it next time around however. It's got little quirks that have had me return to resolve over the past 3 years. I'm also not excited that GoPower was acquired by Dometic a few years ago. I feel quality will likely deteriorate as production years go by, but i can't prove that. You may be very happy with the simplicity of the GP, but you may ultimately be happier with something like the Victron Energy if you prefer top tier equipment. To answer your questions as best i can: A. Any quality inverter will work in the Brinkley. B. As noted by etrailer. you may also need to upgrade your MPPT controller. Your inverter or battery OEM can help make that determination. C. Getting any wiring up an external wall is challenging. It might be easier to go through the interior wall across from the panel. D. You will no longer need your current converter. It can be removed or disconnected. E. Nothing should change with switch functionality as long as you follow proper installation technique and instructions. F. When off-grid and running without generator, there's no draw except to invert DC to AC. G. GoPower has pretty good instructions on setting up the system. I would highly recommend getting them on the phone directly if you aren't sure. Their CS is pretty easily accessible, responsive, friendly and helpful. They are in western Canada so keep time difference in mind when calling. H. There's no relationship between the inverter and the 7-way connector, so there's no change while towing. I. i installed in the battery compartment of the 5er, sitting on the floor. As stated by etrailer, there are alternate methods of install. keep in mind your wire gauges and distances for proper installation I'd go as close to the batteries as possible since you'll probably be using 4/0 for least resistance. Hope this helps.
