Inverter With Transfer Switch for 2019 Lance 1475 With 300Ah Lithium Battery

Updated 05/28/2026 | Published 05/24/2026

Question:

I’m speccing an inverter system for my 2019 Lance 1475 travel trailer. My question is about the power center/charger. It already has a GoPower solar installation and therefore the power center already manages the charging. It doesn’t have a lithium setting, but I might be ok with that limitation. I’d like to install a Go Power inverter transfer switch combo, but am not sure whether or not I should pay the extra $500 for the one with the charger built in. Do I need a new or separate charger? Current system is 30A. I want to install a 300Ah lithium battery with 3000W inverter. Thanks

Hey Christopher! The Go Power Pure Sine Wave Inverter Charger # GP75QR is what I recommend for your Lance 1475. Since your trailer is a 30A system this single-leg model is the correct fit.

The inverter/charger combo is definitely the better option for your setup. Your existing power center will still handle the breaker and fuse distribution side of things, but you’ll disable the original converter section and let the new inverter/charger handle the lithium battery charging instead

This gives you proper lithium charging profile, faster charging speeds from shore power, and a much cleaner overall setup for your 300Ah lithium battery system.

Where are you headed next with the Lance?
