Is There A Thule Wingbar Roof Rack Fit For A 2025 Ford Ranger So A Hullavator Can Be Carried?

Question:
Couple questions: 1. Different sources tell me the Thule Wingbar will and others it will not fit my 2025 Ford Ranger. Can you confirm this will fit. 2. The Yakima Baseline Y56QB only has 50inch rails where the Thule is 53L. I plan to install a Thule hullivator. I know the Thule 53inch L racks will space the rack off the side of my car when down for loading. I do not know if the Yakima 50inch rail is long enough. 3. I currently have Thule Evo wing bars. If I go with the Thule, can I get only a foot pack kit and towers for the older wing bar.

Hi Larry!
I will answer your questions in order:
1. The Thule Wingbar (Evo # TH37FA and Edge # TH36VA) will definitely fit your 2025 Ford Ranger. Just to make double sure, I also checked directly with Thule and they said they will fit. So no worries there.
2. The Thule bars are indeed 3" longer than the Yakima option (the # Y56QB you mentioned), but there is something else you need to keep in mind when looking at the Hullavator # TH898; you can only have 4" to 8" of overhang from the towers. The Thule Edge bars are the flush kind and measure 41" long. I mention this as the Evo bars being 53" long, which means you are going to have (roughly) 7" of overhang on either side, so you are good to go with either the Yakima or the Thule Wingbar Evo options.
3. If you have previous Thule crossbars, you can indeed just get towers and fit kits. We have those with the Evo Clamp Feet for Thule Crossbars - Naked Roofs - Qty 4 # TH710501 and the Fit Kit for Thule Evo Clamp and Edge Clamp Roof Rack Feet - 5324 # TH72BE. That said, how long are the bars you have? You really can't go much longer, but you could get away with shorter ones, unless they are too short. If you let me know the length, I can definitely tell you if they can be used or not.

Lazer, thanks for the great feedback. The Evo bars I have are 53"L so they should be good to go. I do have another question: Is the naked roof mounting secure enough to support the hullivator in the down position when loading. I know the hullivator puts upward stress on the roof rail. Your comments are appreciated.
