Can Older Style of Thule Fairing Be Adapted to Fit OEM Crossbars

2006 Honda element, stock roof rack. Picked up a used Thule wind fairing with square clips. Will these clips work for my vehicle?

There might be a way to make it work but those clips are for the newer style of fairing and not what you have which is the much older style designed only for square bars. It's probably going to be best to go with a new fairing like the part # TH72WV.
