Updated 01/05/2026 | Published 12/25/2025

Question:

I have a 2003 Winnebago Itasca Spirit Motorhome. The entry door latch broke needing a replacement lock. It is 5 1/2 W X 7 1/2 tall. Any recommendations?

Hey Kati!

I'd be happy to help however, I don't have one that is exactly the size that you need. Our entry locks are sorted based off the physical cutout on the door. The locks are larger than the cutout, but are key when when installing so that the lock can stay in place.

The Bauer Products motorhome door lock part # BA64FR is 5-1/2" tall and 6-7/8th wide and fits a cutout of 5-1/4" wide x 4-1/2" tall. Bauer also has lock part # BA26AR that is over all 8" tall and 4-1/4th" and needs a cut out of 7-7/16" tall x 3-3/4" wide.

I know it wont be ideal to remove your lock and check, but if you have a moment in the next several days where you could do that I can find the replacement lock that would be best for your Winnebago.

Worked out of the box with very little medication of the door. Way better than I expected. Thanks
