Can this be mounted upside down and still keep the rating?

Hey Greg, yes you could take the Curt ball mount part # C45041 and use it in the rise position after flipping the hitch ball over and it would still have it's full weight capacity of 7,500 lb trailer weight and 750 lb tongue weight. How heavy is your trailer?
