Hi Dale!

The Firestone Automatic, Single-Gauge Pneumatic Height-Control Valve w/ Compressor, 1/2-Gallon Tank # F2186-2047 can indeed be mounted underneath your vehicle.

However, you do want to make sure it isn't super close to the exhaust and nowhere that could be submerged in water (like if you will be launching a boat or something). I typically say somewhere forward of the tires to help keep road grime and other debris away from it as well.

What are you going to be towing?

@Brian Interesting spot for it. Did you have to get more air line for that or was there enough included?

@LazerS there was enough airline in package. I had to add wire to run to power and ground for pump but that's all I had to add. I'd suggest adding in line air dryer if up northern part of US as first winter in negative temps must have got moisture in lines from compressor and airbags wouldn't fill until I thawed it out!

@Brian Good advice. Water/moisture in the lines definitely causes issues.
