Ratchet Strap Kit With Storage Back To Help With Hauling 2 Kayaks In Back Of Pickup Truck
Published 12/16/2025 >
Question:
I haul two kayaks in the back of my truck and need something quick to hook and unhook. Are the S-hooks easy to use for lighter loads like that?

Expert Reply:
Yvette, that’s exactly the kind of job where the S-hook ratchet strap kit # e92NR shines. Because the straps are 15 feet long and the hooks have built-in keepers. You can clip in fast, tighten everything down, and unhook just as easily at the water.
And since kayaks don’t weigh much, the 700-lb working load limit per strap is way above what you’ll ever need. You won’t gain anything by stepping up to the heavier duty straps unless you start hauling bigger toys.
How long are the kayaks you’re usually carrying, Yvette? Do you have a ladder rack or how do you haul them?
