Hey Ken, congrats on the new truck! The Draw-Tite Front Hitch item # DT36MR does indeed fit the 2026 Ram 2500 with a gas engine including the Tradesman edition. This front hitch is custom fit, has a 2" receiver, and comes with all hardware necessary for installation.

What do you plan on using your new front hitch for?

It fit my 2020 Ram 2500 6.4L gas engine. See my review below for some installation tips. I am using it for the same purpose as you will be using it. Ebikes.

I installed this on a 2022 Ram 2500 It took me a half hour to install it. No drilling just fit perfectly. I use this to move boat trailer and travel trailers around the yard. Can move them easily. I also use this to mount a Home Plow for snow plowing. No issues great product. Good Luck

I put the hitch on my 2024 Tradesman, and it works fine. I use it for a front mounted fishing basket/rod holder. Instillation was pretty smooth. Watch a couple on YouTube videos first and for reference.

Works great for 2 heavy ebikes on my 2020 Ram, using the heaviest capacity e bike Hollywood Rack. Bikes didn't budge.
