Question:

I just got a 2024 Hyundai Tucson Hybrid. Is the Benton too heavy for hybrids, or is the tongue weight manageable?

Sara, you’re in great shape - the Benton hitch mounted crossbar rack # B42FR weighs only about 42.5 lbs, so it’s very hybrid-friendly. As long as your Tucson’s hitch has a tongue weight rating of 300 lbs or more, you’re good to max out the rack at the 300lb capacity. If your Tuscon owner's manual says a lower amount, then you'll need to follow that lower weight rating.
