What Tester Can I Use if my Vehicle Has Lamp Out Sensors

Does PK12741 work with cars that have lamp out sensors. If not which 7 pole and 4 pole testers do you recommend. I understand I may need resistor-equipped adapter adding dummy loads to mimic bulbs

Hey, Bill!
You can definitely use tester part # PK12741 with your vehicle, but you’ll need one additional part to make it work properly with your vehicle’s plug. The part # 20142 adapter has a built-in bypass specifically for vehicles with lamp-out sensors, like your Sorento.
You’ll also want to use this adapter anytime you’re towing a trailer or plugging anything else into your Sorento’s 7-way, as it helps ensure everything functions correctly.
