Reverse Lockout Solenoid for UFP A-60 Actuator
Updated 12/29/2025 | Published 12/06/2025 >
Question:
Hello, I just bought a boat and trailer that has a UFP A 60 brake actuator. I noticed that it does not have a solenoid for backing the trailer. I was wondering what part number is available for adding this to the system. Thank you.

Hey Chris, for a reverse lockout solenoid for your UFP A-60 you'd want the part # T4748800. If the brakes are drum brakes you may have free-backing plates and not need this though so you might check and let me know.

Hey Chris, did you get a chance to check whether your trailer has free-backing plates on the drum brakes? Once you know that, I can help confirm if the solenoid you mentioned is the right fit.
