Question:
I have a 2020 Chevy 3500 dually. Im looking for support that can help create a smoother ride when not towing. I dont tow very often but I do have a 30foot tow behind camper. I mainly want something to prevent jarring of the rear suspend on bumps when driving daily. The kids hate riding in the back of the truck because of that. The back is a crew cab wfoot an 8foot bed. Your advice would greatly be appreciated.

Hi Mike!
I may have a couple options that will be of interest to you, but I do also have to say that most of what we carry for suspension is going to beef it up for towing. That doesn't mean the two options I have below won't help, but it is something to be aware of.
First is the SumoSprings Solo Custom Helper Springs - Rear Axle # SSR-207-47. These are light duty bump stops and are rated to 1,500 pounds at 50% compression. I couldn't find anything about the capacity of the stock bump stops on your truck, but I would bet these are nicer than what comes from the GM factory.
The other option is the RoadActive Suspension Custom Leaf Spring Enhancement Kit - Heavy Duty # RAS3611-CHD. Yes, these are technically heavy duty, but you could set them as light as they can go and I have had a lot of people tell me they actually do help with unloaded ride and handling. This is probably the way I would go.
What I saw most people doing on forums was just letting out air pressure from their tires though. Like down to 45 psi. Would be a quick and easy thing to try.
The last thing you could do is get new shocks with a lower spring rate. This isn't something we currently carry, but I know they are out there. Bilstein are by far the most popular brand for this, and that's for a reason. They are good. They are also not super expensive.
Is you suspension currently stock?
