Recommended Stealth Hitch for a 2022 BMW X7 m50i

Hello, I have a BMW X7 m50i 2022 and there is already a stealth hitch installed. I don’t have the rack or towing mount as they were lost. I plan to tow and use for a bike rack, etc.. Does the rack receiver have any benefits over the towing receiver or could I just get the one for towing and also use it for bicycle rack, etc. When I purchased the car, they gave me the wiring kit, which was not installed, only the hitch. Do you know how long approximately the electrical portion takes to install? I plan to take it to a shop, but would like to know approximately how long it takes so I can get an idea of how much the install will cost Thank you!!

Hey Gabe. Since your 2022 BMW X7 m50i has one of the Stealth Hitches item # SH32VR or item # SH66VR already installed you'll need the Replacement 2" Receiver Attachment for Stealth Hitches item # 391RR2 for a bike rack or cargo carrier. These can not be used for towing.
To tow a trailer you'll need the Ball Mount for Stealth Hitches Hidden Receiver Hitch item # 391BMU5S along with a 2" hitch ball item # 40038 or a 2-5/16" hitch ball item # C40005 depending on what size coupler your trailer has.
Due to the coding and reprograming required, I do not know how long it will take a shop in your area to install the Stealth Hitch wiring on your 2022 BMW X7 m50i but I can help you find a local installer.
If you go to the product page of the Stealth Hitches item # SH66VR and scroll down below the pics on the left side you'll see a box that says, SCHEDULE AN INSTALLATION. Go ahead and click on it and it will take you to a page where you'll be able to enter your zip code. Once you do this you'll be connected to our network of reputable installers in your area.
