I have a customer that is curious about purchasing a solar panel to help keep her RV batteries charged. Where do i start and what information do i need to know?

Hey Dillon, we have several help articles that cover basically everything you need to know to pick out solar power components for an RV based on the power needs that I linked down below for you to check out. I would start though with are they looking for something to mount permanently on the roof of the RV or like a portable solar panel they would setup at the campsite on the ground once parked. Then I would ask about what they have that draws electricity in the RV, followed by what batteries they have (type and amperage rating) and then ask about how much sunlight they will have etc and see what makes the best sense. Might ask about budget too as the kits can get pricey.
