Question:
trying to get my head around having no shocks or airbags to cost hundreds more than other brands is a problem let alone the plastic release handle to be fair some of your picks shows a robust steel handle the cable is attaced to but others show a plastic one. this pinbox goseneck claims to fit my turning point pin box but my pin weight of a 1500 serious trailer on a 6000 lb trailer probably would be a mistake. not enough weight to even load the rubber torsion. seems like every option is going to be a return item. I guess there is no options for the grand design reflections in the smaller 6000 lb fifthwheels avaiable. shame i would enjoy a softer tow and more bed space am i alone. towing with a 2014 ram 3500 4x4 long box with a bandW turn over ball fifth with fifthwheel

Hello Mark; is this a 2019 Grand Design Reflection? Assuming it is, the lowest listed GVWR is 8,995 lbs on the 220RK. The unloaded weight is 6,695 lbs but that isn't what determines fitment, and you're going to be heavier than that no matter what. Is that what you have? Also, do you have a Lippert Turning Point right now? If you do, then the Gen-Y Hitch Shock Absorbing 5th Wheel to Gooseneck Pin Box # GY48GR will actually work for you.
If you have a different model, or different pin box bolt pattern, let me know in the comments below and I'll see what solutions are available. If you aren't sure about your pin box you can send me a picture of the pin box sticker with the serial number and I'll reach out to Lippert to identify it.

I called etrailer with all the numbers on my turning point pinbox numbers and was referred to lippert who quickly said nope nothing available. The geny hitch appears to match up and not concerned about warranty expired anyway but even loaded at 8,000 lbs a hitch made to absorb the force of 22,000 lbs and higher pin weight makes me think this lower weight on a heavier capacity hitch may not work that’s not to mention for roughly $1800. To not have shocks or airbags like other brands have seems way over priced little rubber torsion bars should be $1,000 less. I mean am I missing something the cost of the shocks and airbags and cost $300 more. Than Reese and others
