Hey Kenneth. The Zerostart Thermostatically Controlled Circulating Tank Heater item # ZE43RR does not have a pump in it. This is a non forced flow circulation heater. It operates on thermosyphoning, which means cold coolant is drawn from the bottom of the engine block, heated in the tank, and is then forced to the top of the engine block.

The Zerostart item # ZE43RR is a 1,000 watt heater that is powered off of a 5' long cord that has a standard 3-prong 120v plug. The thermostat automatically switches on at 100° F and off at 120° F. The casing is made out of die-cast aluminum and measures 6-3/4" tall x 6-1/4" wide x 2-5/8 deep.

What kind of vehicle are you wanting to install this on?

Hey Kenneth, did the Zerostart circulating tank heater end up working the way you needed for your setup? Your experience could point others in the right direction when choosing a heater for their vehicle.
