What is Weight Capacity of 2024 Toyota RAV4 Prime for Roof Tent

Question:

I am looking to install a roof top tent on a 2024 Rav Prime, with a flush mount rail system on either side. How much weight will this roof system hold?

Hey Chrissy, the Rhino Rack Pioneer Platform kit part # RR45KP that fits your 2024 Toyota RAV4 Prime has a static weight capacity of 660 lbs so it would work great for carrying a tent. Static capacity is the weight capacity it has when it's not on the road. Do you have a tent picked out already?

Hi Jameson! Thank you for your reply. I do have a tent picked, it’s the RoofNest Condor 2 air. Is this tent compatible with this roof rack?

@ChrissyL While we don't carry that brand of roof tent I was able to determine that they do have the tent as a confirmed fit for the Pioneer Platforms so it will work. I wasn't totally able to confirm exactly how it attaches but I believe the hardware wraps around the slats of the Pioneer.
