What Rim Width Does Trailer Tire Size 225/75-15 Fit

Updated 12/01/2025 | Published 11/09/2025

Question:

I’m replacing the axles on my Rv and trading up to a 6 on 5 1/2” wheel size. I want to transfer my existing tires onto the new rims. I have Goodyear Endurance tires 225/75r15. I know I need a 15”, but what with rim do I need?

Hey Tony, the tire size 225/75-15 that you have can fit rim widths that are between 5 and 7 inches. This is a pretty standard range for 15 inch trailer wheels so most likely anything you see would be correct but for a wheel in this size with your 6 lug bolt pattern we have the part # AM20539 as our most popular option. I also attached a link on this page to all of the matching wheels. If you are looking for something specific and want me to help further just let me know!

Hey Tony, how did things go with the 15-inch wheels for your RV after switching to the 6 on 5-1/2 pattern? Your update could make it easier for the next person upgrading their axles and wheels.
