Hello Brad, thanks for reaching out. We do have a carbon monoxide detector that can be used to replace your old unit. Here is what I recommend:
- RV Propane Gas and Carbon Monoxide Detector - 12 Volt - 2 Wire - Black # RS54FR
This detector is for CO2 and propane so it does need to be mounted between 4" and 18" off the floor. It comes with a small and large bracket which cover most applications. It is also available in white as part # RS34FR if you prefer that. It has a 5-year lifespan which is standard for detectors.
Is the current CO2 detector mounted near the floor?

Hi Jesse, The one that I was inquiring about is mounted on the ceiling in the motorhome bedroom. I also have one for the propane that is mounted near the floor under the refrigerator, so I think I have that covered, I've seen one for sale like mine on E bay for $115. That seemed like a high cost plus if they aren't made anymore, what exactly are they selling? In any case, I would like to thank you for taking the time to answer my question! Brad Christian
