Is There Replacement Screen for RV Screen Door?

Question:

I had to replace this plastic push down slider but the screen to the side that it slides behind is torn. Is there a replacement I can get for that section of screen? Thank you

Hey Kyle, thanks for reaching out!

The screen you're seeing behind the photos we have of the Lippert Screen Door Slider Panel # LC239061 aren't something that we carry, but as I'm looking at the photos, the screen looks like it installs the same as what you'd have at home, so I recommend picking up some screen at your local home improvement store and DIY-ing it, which will be cheaper than having a shop do it or replacing a whole section of the screen door.

I replaced the screen on my back door a few years ago (due to my kids...I don't want to talk about it) and it wasn't too bad. A flathead screwdriver will be needed for the installation unless you buy one of those roller tools to press the material in place (the roller tool made the job WAY easier).

Thank you, Jon. I think that's exactly what I have to do. My kids were also the reason for this tear...I also don't want to talk about it. lol

@Kyle Well I'm sure you had the same conversation that I did with my kids about the screen lol On the bright side, that section is small enough and I think screen only comes in larger sections so you'll likely have some extra screen in case it happens again - but I wouldn't tell the kids that haha
