Absolutely, Carol. The 2-ton Tallboy # PM44FR is great for utility trailers, small campers, and light cargo haulers. It’ll easily lift one corner of a 4,000-5,000-lb trailer, and the U-shaped saddle cups the axle nicely, so it doesn’t slip. Just make sure the jack’s 7-15/16 inch starting height fits under your axle - if your trailer sits low, drive the good tire up on a short board first to gain a couple inches of clearance.

Do you usually tow that trailer with an SUV or pickup?

We usually pull it with our F-150, mostly landscaping stuff, mower, mulch, all that. I’ve had two flats this year, so I’m ready to make things easier next time.

@Carol Sounds like a plan, Carol - those landscaping or agriculture jobs can be hard on tires! The Tallboy will make your life a lot easier when you’re on uneven ground or gravel.
