Question:

Looking for back up camera to mount on 2021 Freedom Express and use with 2020 Ford Expedition. If possible, image that comes displays on the same screen the vehicle back up camera. There is a mounting location on the trailer, but provide installation guidance if you can. Thanks

Hey Lou. There's no camera system that is going to be able to connect to your 2020 Ford Expedition's display. The OEM's don't like to work with the manufacturer's that make the back up camera systems. You can check with a Ford dealership but the last time I checked GM was the only OEM that had trailer camera connectivity and that was on more recent model years.

The best backup camera for your 2021 Freedom Express is going to be the Furrion Vision S+ Wireless RV Backup System w/ 1 Camera item # FR57AD. The Vision S+ is the latest system. It offers a higher resolution screen and camera. The backup camera comes with it's own mount and a built in microphone. If you have a camera mounting location it should also be prewired. You'll just need to connect the power wires to the camera.

The 7" monitor wirelessly connects to the backup camera. It comes with a cigarette lighter charger, and a USB-C power cable. I've linked an installation video below that walks you through setting up this system.

Does your camera mounting location have any kind of label on it to indicate a specific camera system?

You can add this information and any other questions you have where it says Reply to Jerred H and I'll be happy to answer them.
