Question:
Hi I have a 1958-59 tee nee boat trailer with rouched fenders looking to find a couple that I can easily convert to fit. I saw the Single Axle Trailer Fender w/ Backing Plate - Ribbed Steel - 14 to 15 Wheels will this fit 4.80-12? If not could you recommend something better? Thanks

Hi Kenneth; the Single Axle Trailer Fender # HP29FR can be used with a 12" wheel. Smaller wheels/tires typically aren't a problem. What are the dimensions of your old fenders? I would focus on matching those dimensions and not worry as much about the wheel size. This measures 32" long x 9" wide x 15" tall. The # HP79VR you looked at can also work and measures 28" long x 7-3/4" wide x 10" tall.

Hey Kenneth, did either of those steel fenders end up matching the dimensions of your old ones on the Tee Nee trailer? Your update could make it easier for the next person working on a similar vintage setup.
