Suspension Enhancement for 2024 Toyota Tundra With 3" Lift

Question:

Hello, I have a 2024 Tundra Hybrid with a factory 3inch lift. Im looking to get rid of the terrible sag when towing a travel trailer, and will be using a WDH. Just wanting some extra support, and I dont really know that i want airbags. I was looking at sumo springs, but I dont know if theyd work with my lift. Right now, I have 9.25inch between the frame and the axle its not a leaf spring vehicle, its coils where the factory bump stop is. My understanding is that sumo springs are about 4.5inch if you dont include the actual mount, and they recommend .5-.25 of space between the contact location and the end of the sumo springs.... so Ive got potentially 4.5inch or so to make up. I know you guys sell the timbren spacers, but I dont know how comfortable I would feel stacking 4 of them together. Do you have any ideas on how I could accomplish what Im trying to do?

Hey Joe! SumoSprings doesn't have an option for additional spacers so they will not work with your lift. The gap between the springs and the frame would be too much so they would never engage. If you don't want air bags the Timbren SES # T45MR is the only option.

The height of the Timbren is 6" and you want about a 1" gap so you can add two of the Timbren 1" Spacer For Raised Frame Vehicles # A25723-90AH00 on each side. Take a look at the picture of the spacers below, it will still be a solid setup even with them added in.

What kind of trailer are you towing?

Hey Joe, how did things turn out with the Timbren setup and spacers on your Tundra Hybrid? Did it give you the extra support you were after when towing your travel trailer? Your results could really help others trying to fix the same sag issue.
