Is There A Pole-Tongue Adapter For Use With A B&W Continuum Weight Distribution System?

Updated 10/23/2025 | Published 10/20/2025

Question:

I have two boat trailers with pole tongues. Are there any adapters to be able to use the BandW Continuim weight dist hitch? Thanks

Hey Walter,

The only 2 systems that have pole-tongue adapters that we carry are Blue Ox and Equal-i-zer systems. The Equal-i-zer # EQ95-01-5950 adapter would need to be used with an Equal-i-zer weight distribution system like # EQ37100ET. Same thing would go for the Blue Ox adapter # BXW4023, would have to be paired with a Blue Ox Sway Pro # BXW1000.

There is not an adapter that I was able to find out there for the B&W Continuum system. What kind of boats are you hauling?

I have a 2019 Bennington tritoon dual engine that is 27 ft (8,000lbs with trailer), and a 2022 MasterCraft X24 24ft (10,000 lbs with trailer). I'd be pulling them with a 2021 King Ranch Crew Cab F150 with the max tow package. Would the Reese pole tongue adapter kit work with the B&W Continuum if I mounted it on the bottom of the tongue?

@WalterS The Reese adapter # RP58393 is only compatible with Reese round-bar, trunnion-bar, Steadi-Flex, and SC weight-distribution systems. There is not an adapter for use with the B&W Continuum.

@NickS Reese claims it'll work with any system, but I can see why it wouldn't with the B&W. I see the systems you say it is compatible with, but would it work with any of the weigh safe systems?

@WalterS I don't have any information that says it is compatible with any other system besides Reese. I am going to reach out to them myself and see if I can get you some more information on compatibility.
