you list product ABS39FR which is a 36 cam bar lock by ABS. that assembly also comes in black per the manufacture, do you carry the black one also?

We actually do have the Tamper-Proof Door Latch w/ 36" Pipe for Enclosed Trailers # ABS39FR in black (I just asked for it to be added for you). It's available as Part # ABS29FR on our site.

Hey Dusty, I emailed the manufacturer to get the dimensions you are looking for on the #ABS56FR and the overall length is 5-5/32” with the hole spacing of 3-29/32” center to center.

Yes you can go the route you mentioned. You'd need to install an idler Dexter 8k Nev R Lube hub with part #004-402-90 on your spindles and then you could use a slip on kit like the part #K71-635-90 and you'd be set.
