If you've got smaller trailer doors, you know most bar locks don't fit right. This one does. It's built for side and compact doors, giving you a tight seal that won't rattle loose on the road.

Hi everyone. Steven here with the etrailer. Today we're taking a quick look at a blackened out zinc-flated steel tamper-proof door latch. It comes in a 36-inch long pipe, and this is mainly used for enclosed trailers and smaller trailers that don't need the full-length bars and those kind of things. So again, this is a simple cam action latch. If you're not familiar with these, basically you'll open it, close it, it'll spin, and then you'll bring the handle down.
There's no latch included. All that is sold separately. There's no hardware included, that's sold separately, where you can reuse the hardware you have. The hinges obviously, excuse me, are powder coated here as well. Again, they have that blackout zinc coating and that's going to protect that steel from corrosion and road grime.
And the handle here is about 14 inches long overall. It does have a little plastic kind of sheathing on it and that sheathings about four and a half inches long. It just covers the part where your hand's going to go to give you a little extra grip. So again, folks, 36 inch long pipe, great for small trailer, van doors, where full length bars just won't fit. That's going to wrap up our look together folks.
I'm Steven. Thanks for watching.
