Hello. Would like base plate kit and wiring harness for my 2021 jeep 4xe. I already have hitch and wiring on my jeep. Am I able to just plug and play at rear lights still using my 4 pin tow plug? Also want 6 pin not 4 pin cable. Would like base plate that already has mounting brackets for wiring Please let me know what exactly I need for my 2021 Jeep Wrangler 4XE Thank you. Paul

Hey Paul, for your 2021 Jeep Wrangler 4xe we have the Blue Ox base plate kit part # BX1139 as a confirmed fit that would work great. It has brackets for lighting as well too.
There isn't a way to use your trailer wiring in reverse as tow bar wiring so you would want to install the Curt kit part # C96JR which installs basically in the same way by plugging inline with the taillight connectors. This does use a 4-way style connector so if you were for sure wanting a 6-way style you'd have to go with a diode style kit like the Roadmaster # RM-15267.

Hey Paul, how did things go with the Blue Ox base plate and the wiring setup for your Wrangler 4xe? Did you end up using the Curt kit or the Roadmaster diode kit for your lighting connection? Your update could make it easier for others setting up a similar flat tow system.
