Question:
I have a 20 triton pontoon trailer scissors lift. I am looking for an automatic braking winch that will accommodate cable. The bolt mounting holes are 4on center. Which of your winches do you recommend? If it helps I have a 2013 Harris cruiser with 60 hp 4 stroke. Thank you, Larry

Hello Larry, thanks for reaching out. We do have an automatic braking winch that will accomodate a cable. For that I recommend the following:
- Dutton-Lainson Hand Winch w/ Automatic Brake - TUFFPLATE Finish - 2,500 lbs # DL15721
This will work with up to 34' of 5/16" cable. The cable is sold separately, and what I recommend for that is Hand Winch Cable with Safety Hook 5/16" Diameter x 25' Long - 2,500 lbs # DL24102
That said, the mounting holes on this winch are not at 4" on center. I have included a picture that shows the mounting hole dimensions. Please take a look and make sure this will work for you.

Hey Larry, did the Dutton-Lainson automatic braking winch end up fitting your pontoon trailer’s mounting holes? Knowing how that match worked out could help others with similar setups. Your feedback would be really useful for anyone checking fit on these winches.
