Which is Better a Fulton or Dutton Lainson 2 Speed Trailer Winch

Question:

I have a DL DLB1500A winch on my Vexus bass boat trailer. I am thinking of switching to a 2 speed winch and have a couple questions. 1 Do you have a recommendation between the DL 2 speed and the Fulton F2 2 speed? I had the Fulton on my last boat. It looks like someone could easily steal the handle off the DL winch. 2 Will either the DL 2 speed or the Fulton 2 speed fit the same mounting holes on my winch bracket? Thanks

Hey Bill, so if it was me I would go with the Dutton Lainson winch part # DL17085 over the Fulton. I really like DL winches because they are well made, very reliable, and made in the USA. Fulton winches aren't terrible but DL winches win if for nothing else just overall quality.
