Question:
I'm looking for a low profile replacement for a Penguin ii on my 5th wheel. Need a 15k with a heat pump, my setup is ducted if that matters. Do you have a good option for me?

Hey Logan! For a replacement that has everything you're looking for I recommend the GE Appliances Low-Profile RV AC. You can choose from the following based on color:
-GE Appliances Low-Profile RV AC w/ Heat Pump - Ducted - 15,000 Btu - White # GE38RR
-GE Appliances Low-Profile RV AC w/ Heat Pump - Ducted - 15,000 Btu - Black # GE26RR
Both of these are complete systems with the air distribution box and thermostat. Since everything switched to the new R32 refrigerant following the 2025 EPA guidelines a full replacement is required for any new AC since parts aren't backwards compatible with the old R410A units. The GE sits at 11" tall, comes with a heat pump, and also features a 2-year warranty.
Any big plans with your 5th wheel this fall?

Nothing planned but I want to replace the AC before next spring since they always seem to run out of stock right when it heats up. Thanks for the help!
