Hey Derek, thanks for reaching out!

The Hopkins Endurance # HM40157 fits a 1999-2001 Ford F-250/F-350 while the Hopkins Endurance # 40167 fits a 2002-2004 Ford F-250/F-350. So it looks like the plugs are the same, but the wiring pinouts are different and that's why they aren't the exact same wiring kit.

For your 2002 F-350 you need the Wiring Kit # 40167.

Are you looking to start towing a gooseneck or 5th wheel trailer?

Ok. I wasnt sure because the price was so different. Thank you for explaining I have been towing a trailer but running the cord over the tailgate to the plug. This looks so much more convenient

@DerekJ Happy to help out! Yes, the in-bed 7-Way sockets are so much more easier than routing the cord over your tailgate, and it also means you don't have to worry about what's going on back there with it either.
