2002 jeep liberty rear mounted spare will e98874 fit my jeep liberty 2002

The etrailer.com Folding Cargo Carrier, part # e98874, has 9-1/2 inches of clearance from the hitch pin hole to the closest surface of the cargo carrier when folded and chances are this is more than enough clearance for your spare tire.
The only way to be sure it will fit is to measure. Take a dowel rod or a yard stick and lay it against the spare tire. Measure from the center of the hitch pin hole straight out to the dowel rod. If it is greater than 9-1/2, then the carrier will not fit when folded.
Please note that this carrier is for a 2 inch hitch and will not fit if your 2002 Jeep Liberty has a 1-1/4 inch hitch.
