Question:
My camper tires are rated 80 psi cold. Would the PT85NJ be able to handle that, or should I go with the PT75NJ?

Expert Reply:
Lisa, you’ll want the # PT75NJ. The # PT85NJ tops out at 100 psi, so it could work in theory, but you’re right on the edge. The # PT75NJ gives you up to 150 psi capacity, which is much better suited for camper or trailer tires in the 65–80 psi range. The LED light on the # PT85NJ is nice, but in your case the higher pressure rating of the # PT75NJ is the safer pick. It not only does it easier, but quicker and with less strain on the pump and your vehicle's battery.
