Question:
I have a Runaway Cool Camper that does not have a backup plate on the 2,000 lb axel and I need to install electric brakes. Can you help?

I sure can Walter. A 2,000 lbs axle is typically 1-3/4" in diameter, and for that the correct part is the Brake Mounting Flange for 1-3/4" Round Trailer Axles - 2K item # 4-34.
What is the diameter of your axle? Additionally, if you want to tell me what size bearings you currently have and the lug nut pattern of your hub, I can find you the correct brake hubs and brake assemblies.
You can add this information and any other questions you have where it says Reply to Jerred H and I'll be happy to answer them.

Hey Walter, were you able to measure the axle diameter on your Runaway Cool Camper? Once you have that and the bearing and lug pattern info, it’ll be easier to match the right brake hubs and assemblies. Let me know what you find—I’m here if you need a hand narrowing it down.
