Do Coil SumoSprings Custom Helper Springs Fit 2025 Kia Sportage PHEV?

I really do not believe that the Coil SumoSprings Custom Helper Springs - Rear Axle fit my car. I have tried to put them on and there is not enough space between the coils to fit the product, even though the car is lifted so no weight is on the spring. I took a picture of the product partially on to show if you would like to see. Is it possible that this Kia Sportage which is a brand new model with PHEV has different coils than a standard Sportage? Is there supposed to be a lot of tension on this product even when unsprung?

Hello Dean, thanks for reaching out. Sorry to hear the Coil SumoSprings Custom Helper Springs are giving you so much trouble. It is possible the brand new PHEV model has different coils and we just have not heard about it yet. The best thing to do here will be for you to measure the distance between the coils.
For example if the space between the coils of your coil springs is 5/16" you can use the Coil SumoSprings Custom Helper Springs for Coil Spring Suspension # CSS-1069.
It may be the case the coil helpers just will not work, but if you can tell me the distance between your coils I will be able to confirm. Hopefully we have an option for you.
If you decide you want to return the # CSS-1125R just let me know.

Finally got the car jacked up to measure. The distance between the coils which are farthest apart is 1.25". Measuring the distance between the 2 curves of the SumoSpring is exactly 1.25". So theoretically I should be able to get it on, but I can't get it started. Does that distance match what you were expecting?
