Is There An Installation Video For The Global Link Door Latch?

Question:
2021 Jayco Jayfeather 25rb I am replacing the existing locks and would appreciate some instructions for installation. How big should the hole be and how close to the edge of the compartment door can it be placed. There was absolutely no paperwork or instructions of any kind included in the boxes. Im also wondering if the latch is supposed to completely retract when you pull up the handle.

Hey Tiffany,
We actually have a video installing this latch that I will attach for you below. Installation is different on every trailer depending on where the door latch was originally, and whether or not it is the same size as your original. The latch can fully retract when opening that is normal.
What kind of trailer are you replacing this on?

I'm installing on a Jayco Jayfeather 25rb. T One of the compartment doors had the lock punched in creating a hole and I was intending on using the slam lock to cover to cover and replace that area
