Question:
I have a trailer, just bought used, with a Dexter DX7.5L A-60 Brake Actuator that is in rough shape. It doesn’t appear to work and sticks when accelerating from a stop. I’m looking for a replacement without the brake feature that will match the same bolt pattern. I’ll look to rebuild the breaking system during the winter months.

Hi Sean; so you're looking for a standard coupler? There are different bolt patterns within the Dexter DX7.5L A-60 but I don't think any standard coupler will match. For example, the Dexter DX7.5L A-60 # DX89FR and # DX56FR are the same line but that housing has a different bolt pattern for each.
Since it is a full actuator the bolt pattern/design needs to be different compared to a standard coupler like the # T4845000 you were looking at. At the very least I would need some measurements off of your bolt pattern to see if there is an option that matches.

Hey Sean, did you have a chance to take any measurements of your bolt pattern to see if there's a matching option? I'm asking because it could help others who are trying to find a suitable replacement for their trailer.
