Will Camco RV Single-Stage Heat and Cool Wall Thermostat Work With 12V System

Question:
Does this work for a 12V system? We are trying to retrofit this for a heater in our camper that does not currently have a thermostat, just a manual on/off switch - its a propane heater. Do you think the model would work? Additional details, its a 2024 Aliner camper

Hi Linda; the Camco RV Single-Stage Heat and Cool Wall Thermostat # CAM09221 will work with a 12V system. This is a universal mechanical thermostat so I expect it will allow you to run your heater the way you want. If you're tying this to an AC as well it has to be a single speed AC to be compatible with the thermostat.
