Recommended Wall Mounted Thermostat for a EverChill 15,000 Btu AC

Question:

I am looking for a wall thermostat for an EverChill 15000btu, SZ3K-15. I saw your video of another EverChill unit that has a wall tstat. Is that tstat compatible with my unit? If not, how do i get one? Thank you, Bruce

Hey Bruce, as long as your Everchill AC is not a multi-speed AC then you can use the Camco RV Single-Stage Heat and Cool Wall Thermostat # CAM09221. This thermostat is universal so it will work with any single-speed air conditioner.

By single speed, do you mean only one fan speed? Mine has 3 fan speeds on a/c mode.

@Bruce This just means that the compressor operates at one speed - full blast, so it's 100% ON or 100% OFF.

@Bruce did you try this thermostat? I’m in the same exact situation with same Model AC and thermostat and want to replace the thermostat

Hi Bruce, Was wondering if you were able to swap out the wall thermostat. I have the same Ever Chill on my Sun-Lite 16bh RV that isn't working, and am suspecting that it may be the thermostat.
