Hey Kenyon. Both the Curt Hitch Extender for 2" Hitch Receivers item # C45791 and item # C76DR are 8" long hitch extenders. I have attached a couple of diagrams below. Both have a 3,500 lbs towing capacity and a 350 lbs maximum tongue weight.

Please note that using any hitch extender will reduce your hitch's capacities by 50%.

What are you needing a hitch extender for?

I have a 2022 Mercedes Benz glc300 And the curt receiver I had installed is set back about 4inches - if you measure perpendicular down from edge of bumper. I need an extension in order to be able to use my 1up bike rack I also have a Boston whaler center console powerboat That with trailer weighs approx 2500 lbs That I will need to get a hitch receiver that has a longer shank and proper ride for ball position I have noticed that most hitch ball receiver are all accurate length I looking to get one that would work with out the extension but could use the extension if necessary Dk you offer any shorter length extensions ?

@KenyonM The Yakima StraightShot Hitch Extension item # Y69VR is going to be our shortest hitch extender at 7-1/4" long. You can't tow with it though. It's only for accessories like bike racks. We installed the Curt Hitch item # C84ER on a 2022 Mercedes-Benz GLC300 SUV and found the top of the receiver is 12-3/4" from the ground. How far off the ground is the coupler on your powerboat trailer? The Draw-Tite Ball Mount w/ 2" Ball for 2" Hitches item # DT49MR, will easily clear your bumper and it provides a 3/4" lift. That would put the ball mount at 13" off of the ground. You want to be within 1"-2" to be considered level.
